Disclosure

Volunteer Disclosure:

The RSSA is required by the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) to send in completed disclosure statements on coaches, assistant coaches, referees, board members and any volunteer affiliated with the RSSA Board as requested.

The disclosure statements will be returned to the Risk Management Commissioner of the RSSA in a sealed envelope. The disclosures will be forwarded to the State Soccer Association where they will then be processed.

Any volunteer wishing to be part of the RSSA must complete a disclosure statement.

One purpose of the disclosure statement is to reveal any person who has been convicted of a crime of violence or of a crime against a person. This is for the protection of the children.

Other purposes for the disclosure statement are registering coaches, assistant coaches,
board members, and referees for insurance and creating a mailing list for the Wyoming State Youth Soccer Association and the United States Youth Soccer Association.

If any volunteer answers "yes" to the question of being convicted of a crime of violence or of a crime against a person, they cannot volunteer with the RSSA. If any volunteer refuses to sign they cannot volunteer in the RSSA.

Contact Teresa Richards (362-9328) our Risk Management person for additional information or to complete a form.
Remember, disclosure statements must be completed
every  year.
